Frequently Asked Questions

In this section, you will find answers to frequently asked questions. For more detailed information, please contact the manager or use the "Consultation" service.

What material do we not approve?

Audiobooks, podcasts, and radio shows are not musical works. There are many other ways to share such content, but not through our platform.

  • Sacred sounds: We are always happy to accept religious music. However, non-musical sacred sounds, such as prayers, sermons, or recitations, will not be approved as our platform is focused exclusively on musical content.

  • Classical covers: We appreciate classical compositions in their original form. Unfortunately, covers of these masterpieces will not have a place on our platform.

  • Non-musical noise content: White, brown, pink noise, ASMR, frequencies (Hz, waves, tones), sound effects and sound design (nature sounds), guided meditation, and binaural beats are not considered music and are therefore prohibited on our platform.

How long does it take for my tracks to reach the stores?

When uploading a release, Pulse Distribution users can choose any release date, but it must be at least 2 weeks ahead.
For example, if you provide your release on the 1st, the earliest possible release date would be the 15th.
If you want to release it sooner, ask the manager if it can be done earlier.

Our team checks the quality and formatting of each release to ensure it has the best chance of being accepted without delay. If we find any issues during the review, we will contact you and explain what needs to be fixed. You can check the status of your release with your manager.

Can I make changes to my release after it has been published?

Yes, you can do that.

Can I use samples in my music?

If you want to use a sample of someone else's music, you need permission from the copyright owner of the song.

Which stores and streaming platforms does Pulse deliver to?

Pulse distributes to all major stores and streaming platforms, except for Russian ones.

What should I do if my release is published under the wrong artist profile?

This is an automated process, meaning it’s not always reliable! If your music ends up in the wrong artist profile on any store or streaming platform, we will help you fix it.
